Born to be Killed
As a child of the early 00`s, Disney always had a special place in my mind. We are a generation formed to believe in glitter, dragons, and that it will turn out good in the end. Bambi is especially dear to me, since my best friend growing up was a teddy bear, she was a deer, her name was Feline (inspired by Bambi’s GF). Which probably is where my personal excitement comes from when learning how brutal the original story written by Felix Salten actually is. This again leads me to think of all the dark pasts we all are trying to cover up with glitter and cake frosting – only to crack up when you need it the least.
